This page will help prepare you for your first visit to our office.
Bring all of your current eyeglasses, contact lenses, and eye medications so the doctor can better evaluate your needs. Also bring your general medication list.
Bring all vision and medical insurance cards with you to the office. Be sure to contact your Human Resources Department ahead of time if you are not sure of the name of your insurance plans. If you do not have insurance information, you will be responsible for paying for all services at your visit.
The eye examination takes about 45-60 minutes. If you need a contact lens examination, or desire to choose eyeglasses, your visit will take longer. Often emergencies or complications may prolong your visit.
If eyedrops are used to dilate your pupils, you may prefer to have someone else drive you or bring sunglasses if you need to drive. Disposable sunglasses are available in our office at no charge.
Please give at least 24 hours notice if you must cancel your appointment.
Payment is expected at the time services are received unless insurance coverage can be confirmed. A minimum 50% deposit is required to order materials.
